Extreme fear often appears after sharp drawdowns, when spot demand is quiet and headlines are ugly. Extreme greed clusters around vertical rallies and crowded leverage. Neither extreme means “buy” or “sell” on its own — it tells you which side of the boat the crowd is sitting on.
If CI100 is rising while sentiment is still fearful, the tape is stronger than the mood. If altseason is off and Bitcoin dominance is climbing into greed, capital is still concentrating in BTC. Pair the three gauges before you invent a story. None of them is investment advice.
