Legal information
Terms of Use
Effective date: 3 September 2026
Please read these Terms carefully. Cryptoindex.ai provides market information—not a trading product or financial recommendation.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of cryptoindex.ai, including its index explorer, charts, analysis, articles, newsletters, APIs, contact forms, advertising pages, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms in your jurisdiction. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes the organization.
2. Informational service only
Cryptoindex.ai is an informational and analytical website. Nothing on the Service is investment, financial, legal, accounting, tax, trading, or other professional advice. No index value, chart, signal, label, article, newsletter, methodology note, or market summary is a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, hold, stake, lend, or otherwise transact in any asset.
Digital assets are volatile and may lose all or substantially all of their value. Markets may be illiquid, manipulated, interrupted, or subject to regulatory change. You are solely responsible for your research, decisions, security, and losses. Consult qualified advisers before making financial decisions.
3. Indexes, benchmarks, and display baskets
The Service displays a mixture of public third-party index values, exchange-traded proxies, transparent market-cap proxies, and Cryptoindex.ai display baskets. Each page should identify the provider and methodology available to us. A reference to an external provider does not mean that provider sponsors, endorses, licenses, or approves Cryptoindex.ai.
CI100, DePIN Cryptoindex, CI AI Cryptoindex, and other Cryptoindex.ai baskets are display indices unless expressly stated otherwise. They are not funds, exchange-traded products, securities, derivatives, licensed financial benchmarks, or products available for investment. Their constituents, weights, source coverage, and calculation methods may change as data availability and methodology evolve.
Where a licensed official feed is unavailable, we may present a clearly identified reconstruction or proxy using public prices. A proxy may differ materially from an official index due to constituents, caps, pricing times, liquidity screens, corporate actions, rebalancing, supply data, fees, and other methodology choices.
4. Data quality and availability
Prices, market capitalizations, volumes, constituents, charts, and index values may come from exchanges, public APIs, publishers, or other third parties. Data may be delayed, incomplete, stale, duplicated, unavailable, incorrectly mapped, or affected by outages and rate limits. Forming candles and real-time values may change after display.
We attempt to present useful and transparent information, but we do not warrant that the Service is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose. We may correct, recalculate, replace, suspend, or remove a series without prior notice. Historical values may be reconstructed and do not guarantee future performance.
5. Permitted use
You may view the public Service and use its information for personal, non-commercial research, subject to these Terms and any notices shown on a page. Limited citation is permitted if you clearly attribute Cryptoindex.ai, preserve the context, and link to the relevant page.
Unless we give written permission, you may not systematically scrape, harvest, reproduce, republish, resell, redistribute, sublicense, frame, mirror, or create a competing data product from the Service; bypass access controls or rate limits; use automated traffic that degrades availability; falsely imply endorsement; or use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, manipulative, or abusive activity.
6. APIs and automated access
Public API endpoints may be offered for convenience. They may be rate-limited, changed, deprecated, or withdrawn at any time. Unless separate written terms state otherwise, public API access is provided without a service-level agreement and is not licensed for high-frequency trading, valuation, settlement, regulated reporting, or operation of an investment product.
You are responsible for caching responsibly, validating responses, handling errors, and ensuring that your use complies with third-party data rights. Do not treat an HTTP response or historical series as a guaranteed official benchmark.
7. Accounts, forms, and communications
If you submit a contact, partnership, press, advertising, or newsletter form, the information must be accurate and you must have the right to provide it. You may not use forms to transmit malware, spam, unlawful material, private keys, wallet seed phrases, credentials, or sensitive personal information.
Newsletter subscription authorizes us to send the requested weekly email and related service notices. You can unsubscribe through the link in an email. Submission of an inquiry does not create a partnership, agency, fiduciary duty, or obligation to accept a proposal.
8. Advertising and sponsored content
The Service may contain banners, sponsored articles, paid press releases, sponsored index placements, affiliate links, or other commercial content. Paid placements should be marked as “Paid”, “Sponsored”, or “Advertisement”. Payment does not make an advertiser’s claim true and does not constitute our endorsement.
Advertisers remain responsible for their products, statements, legal compliance, and customer relationships. Users should independently verify promotional claims. Commercial terms for a specific placement, including payment, delivery, timing, cancellation, and refunds, may be governed by a separate written agreement.
9. Intellectual property and third-party marks
The Service’s original design, software, text, branding, and original methodology materials are owned by or licensed to Cryptoindex.ai and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access the Service.
Names and logos such as CoinDesk, CoinMarketCap, Nasdaq, Yahoo Finance, TradingView, Investing.com, Binance, and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies a source, comparison, or external link and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
10. Third-party services and links
Links may lead to websites, exchanges, wallets, publishers, or services not controlled by Cryptoindex.ai. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms, privacy practices, products, or losses. Your use of a third-party service is governed by your agreement with that provider.
Never connect a wallet, enter credentials, or send assets solely because a link appears near an index. Check the destination and conduct your own security review.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Cryptoindex.ai disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, and freedom from harmful components.
We do not warrant any outcome, return, ranking, signal, market condition, or continued availability of a data source. No oral or written information obtained through the Service creates a warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cryptoindex.ai and its operators, contributors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; loss of profits, assets, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity; trading losses; or damages arising from reliance on data, an outage, a security incident, a third-party service, or unauthorized access.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising out of the Service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid directly to Cryptoindex.ai for the relevant service during the three months before the claim or USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this limitation may not apply to you.
13. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may modify the Service or these Terms, introduce or remove features, change methodologies, impose limits, or suspend access when reasonably necessary. Updated Terms become effective when posted, unless a later date is stated. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
We may restrict access where we reasonably believe use is abusive, unlawful, dangerous to the Service, or inconsistent with these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.
14. General provisions
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective and the invalid provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the Service.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Editorial Policy, and any separate written commercial agreement constitute the applicable agreement concerning the Service. Headings are for convenience only.
